Some posting advice for beginners.

Do yourself, and us, a favor and use the search function before you create a new post, especially when you have specific questions regarding all things satanic. Fact is, it might, and probably has, been asked before and been answered too. Also avoid asking questions to which you yourself can, within minutes, find the answer. That's why there is Google or Wikipedia. We tend to look down upon those that are too lazy to do some effort themselves. And, should you wonder, no we don't know how to invoke a succubus but we can advise you to just visit youjizz and have a wank. That's what it's ultimately about isn't it?

We use English here, not Ebonics, not Retardo, and not some cell phone language. Take care of your writing and grammar. Every browser these days has extensions automatically showing all errors. Yes indeed, those wiggly red lines you see below some words. These are visible before you reply so correct them before you submit. Everyone reading your post will appreciate it. Also, do not post a wall of text. If people get a headache while reading your replies, it will result in them no longer reading these. If none reads them, there was no reason to post them.

If you reply, or post, make these count. We look down upon micro-replies and are tired of having to, continuously, point that out. We are moderators, not nannies. The general rule is; no one-liners. While something like Yes. Totally. I agree. might indeed not qualify as a one-liner, at least technically, we do know you're trying to be a funny fucker and will treat you as such. The same goes for quoting a whole post followed by some trivial remark of your own. It is not because the reply looks massive, the content has substance. At times you will get away with this, depending upon its value, and the credit you built. Indeed that might seem unfair. We never said it wasn't.

Thus; invest time and energy in your replies and posts. If that is something you are not capable of, get the fuck out of Satanism. Really. Everything we consider a waste of space will be removed. If a specific user forces us to do this too often, they themselves might be considered a waste of space.

Something really important: do not post bullshit. Let me repeat this; do NOT post bullshit.

Through our closer interaction with SIN, especially in chat, certain complications can and will arise. In general, what happens in one habitat, is a problem related, and should be limited, to that habitat. What this means is that if you have problems with someone or something at SIN, we do not care about that here. The same goes for chat. Every environment has its own rules, so adapt and adjust yourself to these. Of course there is something like social dynamics to which you are subject at all times. If you piss off the wrong people somewhere, you might suffer the consequences elsewhere. Thus it is in your best interest to not be a complete asshole.

Conflicts will arise because the moment you share something, you open up to criticism. But, and this is important, you are not your opinion and therefor we would appreciate it if you do not act like a Nancy because someone disagrees with you or annihilates your opinion. Grow some skin. We are not primates flinging our excrement at each other while disagreeing. This does not imply you have to be nice and tolerant, it just implies that if you desire to destroy an opinion, be eloquent when doing so. Opposition, and even ridicule, can be an art. Those observing this will appreciate it more than simplicities like “you suck”.

If you feel treated unjust or have have some issue with something, you can always contact a moderator. Remember however we do not appreciate cry-babies. Remember that well.

D.
