"I dislike both candidates equally on various levels that I don't even think I can bring myself to vote when the elections roll around."
This goes through my head every time I have voted since I started voting years ago.
"I think Obama's diplomacy is sorely needed at this time, however, to put this country back in a positive international limelight once more, but his socialist agenda and anti-Second Amendment stance put me off in the deep end."
Obama does seem to be pretty radical in those views. It is a pretty big part of the Democratic agenda. Unfortunately, if he wins with a majority Democratic house and senate, our political agenda will be way too polarized to the Democratic side. This is why I will probably vote for John McCain since I hope it will somewhat keep things in balance.
I hate to make this topic anymore political than it is already getting, but... I find it funny, the same reason that you are voting for McCain is the same reason that I am voting for Obama. Although I do dislike both candidates. If you look at politics over the last 16 years it has been highly polarized to the republican side of the scale. We first had George Bush Sr. who obviosly is a republican, and hated the middle east as much as his illiterate son does. Then we had Clinton, who while being a democrat, was more controlled by the republican party due to the fact that at the time of his presidency the House of Representatives and the Senate were under a republican majority. And now we have George Bush Jr... I think it is high time we put our country's checks and balances system back into effect and get a democrat in office to hopefully tip the scales. Even if it is only a little bit.

Really similar to French politics... the last president de gauche (equivalent to American democrats) we had was Mitterand, from 1981 to 1995 (two 7-year-long mandates). Well, I've been told he was not that good (being born in 1989 it's hard to me to remember him). After him, we had Chirac, who was de droite (equivalent to your republicans), from 1995 to 2007 (one 7-year-long mandate and one 5-year-long, he changed the law during the first). Well... he actually did not do much things, so he was not a great president too. And now we have Sarkozy... the "de droitest" president ever, Bush lover, stupid f***er for who nothing matters but appearances and popularity. That's why I personnally wish that Obama will win the US elections, because their result will have an impact on France (among others), and having a democrat at the White House would probably make Sarkozy break our balls less...
Hope it was not off-topic

So, my 4 year old asks me "Do you want me to close the browser daddy?"
Next year, he gets to do my taxes....
Ahh, my job. Pays well, I get to do the kind of work I like to do, and it's never boring. However, so far I have missed Motorhead, I will miss the Suicidal Tendencies 25th anniversary, and I will miss Boyd Rice's book signing in Philly. Fuck!
BTW, did you know Boyd Rice is 50? Damn!

I just had the exact same thing. I was fuckin' pissed! It is a long process to get rid of it and if you are not careful you will have to wipe out your whole comp.
NOTE TO ALL HERE: Antivirus 2009 is a virus! Do not even click cancel.
Morgan, are you still having problems with it? For example when you restart your comp does a "failure to dump" box appear?
