May I contribute this charming snapshot of Satanic cultural history ...
Out of curiosity, Dr. Aquino, would you consider that snapshot of Satanic cultural history offensive to the Prince of Darkness? I mean, Dr. LaVey at the time was cultivating an image and culture around the Church of Satan that was far from "sacred" and very much in line with fleshly delights, and I believe in your book you also share the fact of the "Topless Witches Revue."
Why is it that you didn't consider any of this, all of which was going on even before your involvement with the Church, to be "corrupting" to a system you consider so sacred?

I seriously doubt he considers anything sacred other than the quest to understand the great truths and to 'pierce the veil' so to speak. Belief in an extra-human intelligence is as natural as evolution. It follows that sentience shouldn't be limited to our own petty, guilty, loving sensibilities. It should be sought, and encountered, if possible.
What are you talking about? As he has gone to great lengths in his writings and his posts here on this forum to illustrate, Dr. Aquino considers the Church of Satan circa 1970-1975 to have been a "sacred" institution consecrated to the Prince of Darkness himself and Dr. LaVey his earthly representative.
You derailed the other thread somewhat (which has since gone completely off the rails - it had already started going off in a different direction thanks to Dr. Aquino), otherwise we might have gotten an explanation regarding this contradiction. Thus far, your posts have been very much lacking in substance. Perhaps you should just let the man speak for himself and not speculate as to what he may or may not believe.
As a side note to you Dr. Aquino, I forgot to mention that the link you posted to those exploitation magazines hardly constitutes anything remotely pornographic.

I wasn't attacking him, but I bet if you asked him, he'd pretty much back me up on my last post. If life wasn't ultimately a search for truth, then I guess Plato, Aristophanes, Descartes, Wilson, just to mention a few, were merely going to 7-11 to buy a Slurpee. Don't presume to second-guess my intentions again. Ever.
Your intentions thus far seem to be to further derail threads where any critical question posed to Dr. Aquino is present. Otherwise you would just let Dr. Aquino speak for himself instead of presuming to speak for him.
I will continue to second guess you until you start displaying some competence and substance in your posts.

Why is it that you didn't consider any of this, all of which was going on even before your involvement with the Church, to be "corrupting" to a system you consider so sacred? Why should I? It was funny. Not to mention that part of the Church of Satan's "social commentary" was lampooning the sexual prudishness, not to mention rampant fetishism, of mainstream religions.
In the 40s & 50s there was an extensive newsstand line of magazines like these, along with "true crime" and "police" variations. Today's supermarket tabloids are but a pale reflection of that genre, and not nearly so tongue-in-cheek.
In the Church of Satan sex was "an indulgence, not a compulsion". Anton was just as impatient with the rather frantic free-love/sex-orgy extremism of the Haight/Ashbury culture as he was with stuck-up conventionalism. Indeed one of his personal exasperations concerned sexually-bizarre people who joined the C/S to be "tolerated", then got petulant because their proclivities weren't accorded any special notice at all. Go figure.
P.S. FC, will you please go take a cold shower?

Can we take our petty conflicts to PM? This thread is about porn sites. I didn't click this to see 7 posts bickering about nothing. I clicked it hoping to see porn links. Something like this
Actually, the bulk of those posts are thanks to our friend GillesdeRais who likes to post pointless responses conveying nothing. I asked Dr. Aquino a simple question about exploitation magazines (hardly pornographic, mind you, but Dr. Aquino is old school) in relation to the Church of Satan and this joker Gilles starts going on about supernatural forces and existentialism or whatever the hell he was talking about.
Otherwise Dr. Aquino would've responded and that, as they say, would have been that.
And Dr. Aquino, I believe it is you who could use a cold shower, after putting us all through this obsessive lambasting of Dr. LaVey. I hope you respond to my last post in the other thread.
