Well, if you go to Scotland, just be careful while jogging by Loch Ness. And if you drive by there, I recommend you do it in a Toyota Tacoma truck.

I lived for a while in Germany (10 years or so), and have to say their take on the “fast food joint” were some of the happiest of my life so far. These places can normally be found in areas that have a number of pubs/drinking dens; the Germans call them “Schnellimbiss”. That roughly translates to “quick eat/snack bar” (I think lol).

My favourite venue was "Schnellimbiss Heinz Mertens", a dingy little shop front in the back streets of MG. It served the best oberbachen I have had in my whole life. To this day I still crave it whenever I drink German ale. (For those that care, oberbachen is lamb marinade'd in paprika and garlic, spit cooked, thinly sliced then baked covered in cheese and sliced red onions).

Well since drive-thrus were listed \:\) My favorite is Sonic's. It is a real old fashioned drive-thru where they roll around on skates to bring your food. Here is the link:)

Depends on the Sonic. They don't do rollerskates in Tennessee. But they DO do hamburgers that don't taste that good.

I second that. Their hamburgers here in Bama suck.

There is a dive not too far from here called "King's Wings". It's owned by Latinos and Cajuns from Lousiana. They have aprox. ten different flavor wings. They also have about six different flavor fries. And they serve catfish. One order is a TON of fries and wings. There is one flavor hot wing called "Lava". Totally dangerous but good stuff! Places like this is where real food is found.
