Or for the really daring... a bread ass topped with sliced extra-rare rump steak (and black pudding?), covered with blue cheese and a bit of mustard.

Anyone remember the Zombies episode of South Park?
Don't forget a dash of Worcestershire Sauce for that English touch!

But seriously, I'd practically kill for a bit of German Zwiebelmettwurst spreading sausage on a bit of corpse foot bread. With melted cheese. \:D

Edit Reason: Black pudding and Zwiebelmettwurst recommendations

Is that a compliment? \:D

This is nothing by the way in terms of gross foods, have you seen the Filipino delicacy Balot (Balut)?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balut
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:15DayBalutEgg.png

Yes, that really is an aborted duck fetus you see floating in that exotic Filipino hot sauce and patis. Complete with beak, head and eyes, not to mention early feather growth and precalcified bone. Notice that the yolk has developed blood vessels. It takes on a similar role to the placenta in mammals.

These are typically eaten straight out of the boiled egg's shell. The fluid or juice is sipped from the broken shell before peeling it open and eating the duck embryo and developed yolk.

It is said to taste like a hard-boiled egg with a bit of poultry flavour, different parts of the embryo may have a somewhat 'fishy' taste and be deliciously crunchy, and the fluid or juice is said to make Balot a complete meal - being like a soup starter, and indeed having a similar flavour to broth.

But, if that doesn't whet your appetite enough:

How about a bready dead woman's breast topped with prime beef and mayo? Throw in a sprinking of Stilton and.. job's done.

And here is the image for that delicious Balot:

Laying your ethnocentric dietary eccentricities aside (what's wrong with eating embryos?), could you stomach this delicacy?

From bread shaped like body parts to dishes made with them... Then off to eating duck embryos... I am sorry to say I do not follow your thought pattern...

Oh wait you thought gross foods that some might eat had something to do with bread made to look gross and us talking about making normal dishes from this weird bread...

Silly me...

Thanks for sharing

That is just so nasty.....

Its worse than seeing dead zombies eat other dead zombies.
Its worse tahn seeing fat relatives eat dead things with bare hands.
Its worse than watching stupid Xitans say their prays with a straight face.

Damn, its even worse than bad sex, and yes even bad sex can be really really bad.

Pukey time,

Morg

Ok, as bad as this thread is, Mequa just went over the top.

That is just plain nasty!

In general, I think the casual and comical attitude people have toward death and dismemberment is due to a lack of exposure to the real thing.

I have seen enough violent death to last me a lifetime. Not that I am opposed to the enterprise, I just don't think it is that funny. I think I see it the same way many people see abortion. It may be necessary but it is not funny.

I think you people need a Holiday in Cambodia...

It's actually viewed as a delicacy in the Philippines, I have many friends there who swear by it as a delicious meal in itself as well as an aphrodisiac.

There are a few Filipinos/as repelled by its 'weird' appearance, but on the whole, this food is viewed as perfectly normal and acceptable there, and enjoyed by most of the population.

The connection with body parts is obvious - eating obvious-looking body parts (even fake) is just one cultural taboo among many.
As an example, eating insects is frowned upon in Western societies, but many other peoples swear by it. The same for rodents, reptiles, amphibs, as well as certain animal parts, including whole embryos or newborn animals.

Let us not forget that this is bread we are talking about here...

While death is not funny this bread is interesting in the least... This appeals to some as humorous due to the fact it is just bread... We are all guaranteed death perhaps this bread is a good thing as death can be something to laugh at and eat instead of fear...

Do they sell artistic food there? Or just those duck embryos?

Were you suggesting that people need to see more real death to not enjoy food made into art?

But then again if that shelf full of bread heads reminds you of something you have seen that was real I can understand your bother...

Peace

Yes it is but lets not forget it is sold mainly by street vendors... Some delicacy... Cashews roasted in cola must be the equivalent here...

I would never put that in my mouth...

Personally, I can't find humor, taste, enjoyment, or entertainment in the subject of dismemberment. Did I make that clear enough?

Anyone who does should really spend a day at WRAMC and the NNMC in Washington DC. These are the hospitals in the DC area where our returning vets go for physical rehab. Lot's of amputations there! A real knee slapper! That is, of course, if you have a knee.

I can understand that this subject is not real to most people. Most people in the West have never lived in the real world where most of humanity lives. In a population of 6 billion people, less than a billion of us live in the Disneyland of the Western World. However, I cannot look at faux dismemberment without visions of the real thing popping into my minds eye.

Hell, for a good follow on thread, perhaps we could do one called "Rape - for Fun and Profit!"

See where I am coming from?

In any event, for those of you who are not familiar with the Dead Kennedy's "Holiday in Cambodia" ....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holiday_in_Cambodia

So you been to school for a year or two / And you know you’ve seen it all / In daddy’s car, thinkin’ you’ll go far / Back east your type don’t crawl / Play ethnincky jazz to parade you snazz / On your five grand stereo / Braggin’ that you know how the niggers feel the cold / And the slum’s got so much soul / It’s time to taste what you most fear / Right Guard will not help you here / Brace yourself, my dear… / It’s a holiday in Cambodia / It’s tough, kid, but it’s life / It’s a holiday in Cambodia / Don’t forget to pack a wife / You’re a star-belly sneech, you suck like a leech / You want everyone to act like you / Kiss ass while you bitch so you can get rich / While your boss gets richer off you / Well you’ll work harder with a gun in your back / For a bowl of rice a day / Slave for soldiers ‘til you starve / Then your head is skewered on a stake / Now you can go where people are one / Now you go where they get things done / What you need, my son… / Is a holiday in Cambodia / Where people dress in black / A holiday in Cambodia / Where you’ll kiss ass or crack / Pol Pot, Pol Pot, Pol Pot, Pol Pot, etc…. / And it’s a holiday in Cambodia / Where you’ll do what you’re told / A holiday in Cambodia / Where the slums got so much soul

Right good thing were talking about BREAD and ART then huh? You can tell the difference right? So you do not find it interesting well such is the way of art…

Ask not what your country can do for you…

So our world is less real than Asia because? I assume your speaking of Asia because that is where I believe the most people live per square foot…

So I should feel what? Left out, undereducated, lesser than thou? Yeah I am so ashamed that my country had built itself up to letting us live an easy life that you call Disneyland… Maybe you need to have a talk with those Veterans yourself and ask them if their sacrifice was worth keeping Disney alive?

Perhaps you missed where I said this... "But then again if that shelf full of bread heads reminds you of something you have seen that was real I can understand your bother..." ~T~

Such is your sacrifice for keeping Disneyland alive hopefully long enough for your children to enjoy…

No not really, not at all... Unless you are putting yourself into the role of the victim and/or we are supposed to connect you doing your job and having problems with your thoughts afterward being in any way like getting raped…

How would you do rape in bread?

Good Day…
