It "was" about bread... now who can say. I didn't even want to comment, but that duck image was quite disgusting.

It reminds me of a story on NPR the other day...

Try searching: Ortolan "the sould of France".

This is silly now. As David said, it was about Bread, and now it has progress as to who is more grossed out verses posting the next grossest thing.

Ortolan is so bad, that part of the tradition of eating it is putting a veil/napkin over your face so no one can see you eat/chew/swallow it. At this point, to my knowledge, it is currently against the law to eat them.

I agree there is only so much you can do with bread.

I understand where you are coming from, Fist, but truthfully I don't find anything but morbid gothic humor in the bread, and in the duck eggs, well, let's just say I don't enjoy eggs or meat anyways, (a little raw seafood in my sushi and an occasional scallop is my weakness) though I do appreciate the honesty of Asian cuisine in that they don't try to cover up food that's looking at you, in the case of fish or dead ducks.

It's rather grotesque to imagine people actually looking for baby ducks to eat. Starvation is one thing, but it is a very strong belief I hold that food is a means to an end, not the end itself.

I don't like the food network, it strikes me as avaricious and despicable, nor do I appreciate the abuse of animals to satisfy the disgusting pig like cravings of human tastebuds.

Food can be enjoyable but it should not become an affront to nature.

I believe humans should strive to be like the elves in Tolkien's fantasy world, guardians and extensions of nature, yet above it.

Nice necropost to show us a picture with no description... What makes this pictures interesting enough to resurrect a dead thread? Were you inspired by this post or original artist enough to make this poo butt on your own?

Is it a pig or a baby? Where are its arms did you run out of dough? Adding your thoughts with a picture may make it worth the time took getting here...

See my slap stick attempt at humor was deleted.

Perhaps the board comittee of censorship and newspeak can tell me what is appropiate and what isn't so I'll know for future purposes. ( I wouldn't want to offend the children.)

For an amoral creature, you do complain a lot.
If there is no right and wrong, why bother?

Aww, did someone offend your sense of entitlement?

And as a teenager among adults, your use of the word 'children' is quite obtuse.

I don't really think you are going to last long here.

Because it was fucking stupid, that's why.

You haven't been around here long enough to be entitled to drop little humor bombs wherever you please. In case you didn't read the R&R's thoroughly enough, newbies should stick to the subforum "Satanism 101"--posting anywhere else means leaving yourself wide open to harsh criticism. Judging by the few meandering, pointless posts you've made thus far during your stay, you deserve a taste of that.

And if we were Big Brother, we'd be forcing you to combine words to replace the old, not bother with editing your posts. Long before even making such posts, you would've been arrested for thoughtcrime. "Perhaps" and "censorship" wouldn't even be in your lexicon.

I've seen better artists who make casts and moulds of dead thrings and then arrange them, probably more 'artistic'
