This magazine aims at making you discover the satanic principles, but also to investigate all the arts and the themes around the Devil and around the human shadow. Our editorial staff consists of Satanists and sympatisants, worried that Diableries is an opened space of expression. The magazine is affiliated to no official satanic organization, it is thus independent. Our initiative is to offer to the satanic readers or not, quality articles, with visible sources. The tone is scholar and ironic at the same moment. The arts, the human sciences, the occult, dark subculture, counterculture, all this compose our pages. We are always in search for new articles, if you wish to subject a text to the editorial staff, to make us discover an artist or a thinker, contact us via e-mail at diableries@hotmail.fr

I looked at your website the first time you posted… Like the others I speak English… Is your book translated into English anywhere? That might be a prerequisite to elicit much of a response here… This is after all an English-speaking forum…

Should this be translated anywhere I might find the time to read it…

~T~

You could also send your questionnaire through the PM system on this site… Allowing those who do not disclose their emails to participate…

Our magazine is not translated into English at present, but we translate into French any answer made in English in the questionnaire.

Certain persons have already answered by PM, the others by sending me their e-mail.

Merci

Good luck on your new venture. Sounds quite promissing, and interesting.

Tough job, "translating".

I know enough Spanish to watch a Spanish movie with English subtitles, and know that the subtitles are completely misguided at best, and totally wrong at worst.

I'm sure you have "the best" working on this, though.

Nice work!

That's especially the case where profanity is concerned.

I remember a Spanish student who came to the mistaken confusion that "puta madre" (which he spelled 'puter madre') meant "motherf*cker".
Poor guy.

Alas, profanity is rarely translated literally.
And that's an issue in BOTH directions.
The Spanish version of South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut (1999, now a classic) replaces "uncle f*cker" with "hijo de puta" ("son of a bitch").

Doesn't quite have the same ring, somehow.

Your online magazine "Diableries" is already available in English:

'Mischiefs'

Should work with the e-books too.

The poor translation might provoke some laughter, however...

I don't have the PDF (I'm guessing it's for a fee), however it should be possible to copy and paste parts of it into the large box at http://babelfish.yahoo.com/ (I'd do it one section at a time), select "French to English", click 'Translate' and... voila! ;\)

To the site owner: There is also the option of converting the PDF into HTML, hosting it (temporarily), going to the above site and giving Babelfish the link.
