I almost have on 2 different occasions. The first was as a teen. There was a local bully in the neighborhood. Real piece of shit. No one would miss him but his mom and his parole officer. I was due to ship out for the Army after my senior year. I cooked up a plan to take him out. I spent probably a month going over my plan. I watched houses at night to see what time folks went to bed. I watched his house to learn their routines. I visited every dog in the area to let them learn my scent. I learned the layout of the area in great detail. My plan involved a sniper attack and retreat. On the night it was to happen, I got cold feet. Not because I couldn't kill him, but because I realized the big picture. I'm sure I would have left some kind of evidence behind or not noticed a patrol car that was in the area just driving through. The law ramifications are all that kept me from carrying out my plan.
On the second occasion I drew my gun on a peeping tom in the neighborhood. I had caught him in my window and decided to end it that night. I had a permit to carry a concealed weapon. This kid was a known gang member and all around dirt bag. I had the wife call the police while I persued him in the neighborhood. He was doing a pretty good job of eluding the police. I got fed up and decided to ambush him near his apartment. I hid and waited for him to run by. When he did, I told him to stop right there and wait for the police to get there. We had a verbal confrontation, during which I told him I was armed and permitted to carry a concealed weapon. This served as a way to agitate him. I wanted to escalate the situation. It worked. He became threatening and assumed an attack type stance. I pulled my gun and told him I wouldn't hesitate to use it if he came any closer. I was secretly hoping he would and I could squeeze off a couple of rounds. He turned to flee into his apartment and the police arrived in the area about that time. I knew I would catch heat, so I fled back to my apartment and ditched the gun. He ratted me out. I played stupid with the cops for as long as I could. Eventually they found the gun and charged me with brandishing a weapon. After 2 appearances in court, my case was thrown out. I beat the rap. He later went on to commit 2 rapes in the neighborhood then fled back to El Salvador. Meanwhile, the cops were banging on my door for any information I might have about him. My only response to them was "if I could have taken him out that night, we wouldn't be having this conversation, and those 2 women would be living a better life". Have I killed anyone yet? No. Do I think I am capable? Absolutely.

Man is a primate that has forgotten he is an animal and has psychotic delusions that he is somehow special. Man disregards the natural laws of tooth and claw. Most no longer understand true predators and the path of predation.
Can I kill? Why not.
Would I enjoy it? No. But if necessity dictates action then action will be taken.
Will I revel in the blood and gore? Why should I?
Predation is a serious matter and shouldn't be taken lightly. There must be solid cause to kill. There must be a way to protect self and family from the consequences of the action. There must be some over riding personal benefit.
