Alot of people speak about being able to kill someon but is it really that easy, to take away someones life, someone who has dreams and goals and thoughts??

If you really want to kill someone, you dont care about their dreams, thoughts, etc.
You only want to see them dead.

You also would never ever admit to wanting any individual dead on the internet cause if they end up dead, you are suspect # 1.

I think the hardest thing would be to kill the first one, after that it should in theory get easier.

This is a hard question and needs some thaught!
it seams it would depend how, where, why and when.
Like if your at war or if its to protect yourself.
Animals kill to survive, and for sport so the nature of things would teach us thats it's animal instinct to kill. But it would be an individual choice. AS for me i could!

First of all, yes I know I could kill people. I come from a long tradition of the military family and I could easily see myself joining up and doing just that, killing people.

As for murder. Yes.

I could, I would enjoy it, I have a few people I would like to see dead. I don't because of legal ramifications. I consider life sacred and the people I want dead are destroying that sanctity merely by being alive. This is why I don't own a gun.
I consider myself a reasonable person. If I had a gun and someone made me angry enough I would destroy them there and then with the pull of a trigger. If I can do this and I consider myself a compassionate and caring person as a whole, what could an asshole do with a gun I ask? I am quite happy for our gun laws at the moment.

you speak of murder and killing so lightly.
There is a difference between killing in the militaryor killing for revenge or hatred.

The moment before you pull the trigger is the moment that you will crack at. Just look at the guy you want to kill, look if he has children, if he has a future. He probably does.

and even if you do pull the trigger and destroy him as it were.
what afterwards once you have seen the light leave his eyes what will you feel what will you think?

It will haunt you for the rest of your life. No matter how many people you kill they will always come back to haunt you.

You cannot destroy a man with a weapon.
A man is destroyed once he has lost everything he has lived for and everything he has loved, and the feeling inside him is unbearable near-suicidal that is being destroyed.

A gun just takes away what it has never given, no weapon can destroy a man.

I was considering murder different from killing. I mean callous, hate driven killing without the cover of war or self defense and yes, I could do it. I don't like this fact, it's makes me wonder what other lesser people are capable of.

Would you magnificent examples of idiocy please go back to the CoS forum where topics like this are commonplace and you'll get the proper attention you obviously desire?

Thanks in advance.

I almost have on 2 different occasions. The first was as a teen. There was a local bully in the neighborhood. Real piece of shit. No one would miss him but his mom and his parole officer. I was due to ship out for the Army after my senior year. I cooked up a plan to take him out. I spent probably a month going over my plan. I watched houses at night to see what time folks went to bed. I watched his house to learn their routines. I visited every dog in the area to let them learn my scent. I learned the layout of the area in great detail. My plan involved a sniper attack and retreat. On the night it was to happen, I got cold feet. Not because I couldn't kill him, but because I realized the big picture. I'm sure I would have left some kind of evidence behind or not noticed a patrol car that was in the area just driving through. The law ramifications are all that kept me from carrying out my plan.

On the second occasion I drew my gun on a peeping tom in the neighborhood. I had caught him in my window and decided to end it that night. I had a permit to carry a concealed weapon. This kid was a known gang member and all around dirt bag. I had the wife call the police while I persued him in the neighborhood. He was doing a pretty good job of eluding the police. I got fed up and decided to ambush him near his apartment. I hid and waited for him to run by. When he did, I told him to stop right there and wait for the police to get there. We had a verbal confrontation, during which I told him I was armed and permitted to carry a concealed weapon. This served as a way to agitate him. I wanted to escalate the situation. It worked. He became threatening and assumed an attack type stance. I pulled my gun and told him I wouldn't hesitate to use it if he came any closer. I was secretly hoping he would and I could squeeze off a couple of rounds. He turned to flee into his apartment and the police arrived in the area about that time. I knew I would catch heat, so I fled back to my apartment and ditched the gun. He ratted me out. I played stupid with the cops for as long as I could. Eventually they found the gun and charged me with brandishing a weapon. After 2 appearances in court, my case was thrown out. I beat the rap. He later went on to commit 2 rapes in the neighborhood then fled back to El Salvador. Meanwhile, the cops were banging on my door for any information I might have about him. My only response to them was "if I could have taken him out that night, we wouldn't be having this conversation, and those 2 women would be living a better life". Have I killed anyone yet? No. Do I think I am capable? Absolutely.

Man is a primate that has forgotten he is an animal and has psychotic delusions that he is somehow special. Man disregards the natural laws of tooth and claw. Most no longer understand true predators and the path of predation.

Can I kill? Why not.

Would I enjoy it? No. But if necessity dictates action then action will be taken.

Will I revel in the blood and gore? Why should I?

Predation is a serious matter and shouldn't be taken lightly.
There must be solid cause to kill.
There must be a way to protect self and family from the consequences of the action.
There must be some over riding personal benefit.

Click on his name, it will take you to his profile. Also, it says "BANNED" under his name on his posts, to the left.

We used to have a "Hall Of Shame" for banned members, with the reasons listed as to why they were banned. It gave newbies a better understanding of what was tolerated and what wasn't before they even joined. Which was the whole point.

I really liked that hall of shame. It made me laugh sometimes, and gave me reassurance that we were keeping out the dregs of the internet relatively well. It was also a better warning for newbies, because not only did they get examples of what not to do, they also saw that there were consequences to their otherwise inconsequential internet actions.

It would be nice to see THAT "forum" up again. I'm sure this isn't the best place to post this idea, but I'd personally appreciate it if we didn't perpetuate any thread created by someone who is either completely insane, or was meant as a sort of "plant" for some other purpose. Very wrong, and I hope we can move on being our normal asshole selves - let's agree to disagree once more.
