I raised to $3000 and got called by a limper. He was also second in chips at our table. The flop comes A 6 10. I moved all in for another $19,000 and he called. He had played A 6 and hit 2 pair. Thus ending my tournament. The only logic I can put behind his call is that he put me on a drawing hand. K Q, Q J or the likes. He figures he has an over card and chips, so he calls. In hindsight, I should have moved all in pre flop and he probably doesn't call me. I take in another $1000 and live to see another flop. _________________________ Beer, the reason I get up every afternoon.

I have really only started playing in the last month or so online, not yet for money and am reading everything I can get my hands on to improve. I play on Facebook, so it can be hard, because people definatley play laxer when it's not real money and they don't really have anything to loose. I'm already good at reading people, been like that for years, so I tend to be playing fairly tight ATM, but there is certainly an element of luck in the game.I'm winning enough tournements though to keep me interested. I would never gamble more than I was happy to loose (if you can be happy to loose that is, but I'm sure you guys know what I mean). So I take it you didn't win FakeProphet, bummer? I think I would have been in a good position to make final table if I won that hand. If you are scared of losing every penny you brought to the table, then you have no business being there. When you are ready to do some serious play, PM me. You would have to be a registered member there first. When I have some down time, I can investigate that option further. I have played in several private games there. Usually a host sets it up, that would be me, and then I can send an invite to anyone interested. It would include a password and the setup of the game. I can make it cheap, expensive, etc. I might even be able to make it for freebie chips. Depending on interest, I can work on this. I would need minimum 8 players. The more the merrier. I am also a member on Bogog, Green Tie, Mansion, Ultimate Bet, and Poker Stars. _________________________ Beer, the reason I get up every afternoon.

However, after doing some investigating, it looks like I won't be able to hook this up as easily as I thought. The major sites require that I form a partnership with them. Meaning that I would have to have a website for poker, recruit members, offer multiple games, etc. All I wanted to do was create a free or cheap game that us interested members could participate in. I have not given up just yet. I'll talk with some of the folks I play live games with that run poker sites and see if I can partner with them. I may have to form a league, with a lot of members, to make this happen. I will look into that, and let interested parties know where we stand, and what actions might be required of them to make this happen. Again, I am looking for something fun, cheap or free, and open to all levels of play. Something for us Satanic players to while away a couple of hours when nothing else is going on, and not get invested for a lot of money. Sorry for unlocking this thread. Feel free to lock it again.
