This is a repost. I couldn't edit it. So I am reposting it. Sorry about the horrible spelling. I dunno what happened last night.

Sense this comes from a good source i will have to check out I Am Legend. I Haven't really liked Will Smith sense the Fresh Prince Of Bell Air. I always found that show very amassing. He was good in Independence Day. Hell him and Jeff Goldlom{don't remember how to spell his last name} saved that movie. Something about it rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe it was the way they presented the aliens. I dunno.
That reminds me, Remember Spaceballs? I found that movie so fucking funny, It was ridicules.

OLDTHREAD IS O-OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD.

That said...

300. Without question. It makes me want to go pump iron, scream like a madman, and slaughter the persian invaders as their blood flows through the land like a mighty river; before I realize that I'm a scrawny nerd with no muscles.

I am Legend was pretty decent. The ending sorta ruined it though (but the original cut ending was better).

Sickhouse was a notable conscious-altering movie for me that I saw recently. It's not the best thing ever made and is a bit hard to follow, but the atmosphere is incredibly dark and VERY trippy. It kinda warps your sense of reality.

Fausto 5.0 as well, except it's a much better movie, despite being an obscure, low-budget film from Spain. It's sort of a modern take on the Faust legend, and with a very surreal and moody feel despite taking place in a "normal" urban setting.

300 was a good movie.*It makes me want to go pump iron, scream like a madman, and slaughter the Persian invaders as their blood flows through the land like a mighty river* Makes me feel that way to...HaHa..
The Rocky movies are about the only movies that put me in a altering states. I enjoy them most when I feel very down. They lift my spirit and make me want to keep pushing on through life. My favorite Rocky's was 2 and the last one. When I was a kid I did not watch cartoons. Rocky,Rambo and Conan where what I liked.
Sounds lame but the Rocky movies were the only movies that really get in my head.

I dunno why but Pulp Fiction just didn't do anything for me. Best travolta film in my opinion was Face off. Helped that Nick Cage was in that.
Don't think i have heard of The usual suspects. Who is in that?

"The Lawnmower Man" put me in a rather strange place for a few hours after I watched it.

'Freddy Got Fingered" also did it for me big-time as well... that movie is so revolting, it's brilliant.

"An American Werewolf In London" was one I saw when I was about 8, and scared me shitless (thanks Ma) I haven't seen it since, but I can still remember the creepy parts- I reckon it was my ECI moment of formation for everything that has spooked (and thrilled) me from then on...

As a teen I dropped acid and saw "Scanners" and the first "Alien" movie with my mom. She had to get me into each. Probably not good decisions on my part. I still love "Scanners" to this day. "Alien" kind of gives me the creeps. I think I did too much acid for "Alien". I ended up staying up all night and listening to KISS-Unmasked the whole night. Now avoid that album altogether. Or maybe it just sucked that much. I also had to run a marathon the next day for charity. Which I was unable to do.

"Leaving Las Vegas" made my brain melt. I called the friend who told me to watch it and said, "that was the most fucked up love story I have ever seen in my life"

It seriously haunted/fucked with me for weeks afterwards.

Everything else I would add to this list is already present.

"Phone booth"
Pretty nice movie and intriging.
It has some psychological aspects in it. Since I'm not that of a good reviewer I'll post a little link with the review for those interested.

Second everything except RFAD and Dawn. They left me entirely apathetic, and pissed off at being alive. Irreversible and Cannibal Holocaust, however, made me pissed off at being human.
