I am trying to revive this idea after we let it go stagnant for a while. I am proposing a fun, friendly, free game of poker. You will need to be a member of myspace or facebook and have the poker app installed. See the original thread started by Zephyrgirl for more information if you need it. As stated, this will be a fun game. There isn't any money involved. All levels of play are welcome. Whether you are just beginning to learn the game or fancy yourself a pro. To make this work, it has to be available to as many as possible. I know some of you that are interested live in different parts of the world or work odd schedules. Right now, I am not working so I can play at 2 in the morning on a Tuesday or noon on a Saturday. Let's give this a couple of weeks to build interest and allows others to read this. I would like to get some time frames from the folks that are interested. What would work best for you? I propose a Friday evening. Shouldn't be too many that have to work the next day. Say somewhere around 9pm est. Drop a line in here if interested with a time and day that works best for you. It would help if you convert your time to Eastern Standard Time for us dummies that don't know what time 3pm in Uzebekistan is. We'll see how much interest there is and try to work out a time and day. I'll post an announcement of the day and time it will start. When I have the table set up, I will post that information here as well with enough time for others to log on and find it. It will be a private table just for us. May all your cards be live ones.

The problem me and Zeph ran into was that folks would express interest but wouldn't show up. I'm trying to get a few more. That way it doesn't turn into a 2 or 3 man show. I hate playing a short handed table. Unless it is folks I don't know. Then I exploit them.

I could make it a weekly thing. It's easy enough. Then, anyone that had interest could just pop in there.
I'll open a private table tonight. It will be called "trip 6" and the password to get in will be 600club. I won't open it until 9pm est. You should be able to find it by clicking on the private table tab when you open the poker app. Or you can try to find me as a poker buddy. I'll keep the buyin at the minimum. I think it might be 1 and 2 blinds. That way, no one loses a bunch and has a shitty time. I'll hang around in there for a while to give folks a chance. No takers, and I will close it and move on to something else.

I tried finding it from myspace, but without luck. Says something about having to be on the same server as my "buddies." and I wasn't sure which "casino" to go to. Might need more details the next time as to how to find the table. So you were in luck, you got to keep your chips tonight

I shut it down after an hour. It was just me and Disabuse playing heads up. He wasn't catching cards and I was being dealt premium hands. Seemed like highway robbery.
Asmedious, I don't remember if I have you as a friend on there. If not, that could be a small hinderance. PM me and we can take care of that.
D... I play on there at various hours. You might be able to find me when the time is right.
If you have AIM...that would help. I often play at higher level buy ins and there isn't really a way for folks to let me know they are on and want to play. Unless I see them pop up in my poker friends window or they join the room I am in and let me know via the chat box.

I got the app working so I guess I can play poker when others are online. I'll check it from time to time. I changed my myspace a tiny bit so if you wonder who that freak is, it's me.
