Here's an oddity from 1970. Very different, very controversial, very innovative at the time, as you'll see if you look up Haack on the web. Personally I rather liked EL, though I don't think Anton LaVey did; I recall him saying caustically that it struck him as Jesus Christ Superstar with horns. Oh, well.
Here and here are a couple of tracks from it. Definitely not the Devil's music if you only visualize him as scary and grouchy all the time ...

Here's another oddity from "the old days", in this case 1971. A very disturbing phonograph album called Black Mass by Lucifer appeared on the shelves. Electronic music which was somehow so creepy that aficionados who played all manner of spooky music routinely were frequently very hesitant, even afraid to play this one. 
The artist in question was Mort Garson, and several of his other works are commercially available today, but for some strange reason BM remains OOP, with extreme prices asked for existing copies.
However I have found a webpage from which the entire album may be downloaded as a .zip-file which opens into MP3 files of all of the tracks. [During the download one has to listen to a commercial; just turn down the volume.]
Here's the title track on YouTube, where you can also sample a few other tracks from the album, such as "Solomon's Ring". Enjoy!

Thanks for turning me on to BLACK MASS by Lucifer. I'll have to add that to my music collection and maybe even play parts of it sometime on Dark Ryde.

I checked my list of things I have in storage and found that I have THE ELECTRIC LUCIFER, although I don't ever remember owning it.
Haack also did a followup EL2, which was not released at the time ... only after his death in 1988. Just as frisky & fun; here's "Mean Old Devil" from it, and you get to see Haack visiting with, of all people, Mr. Rogers.  [Wouldn't that have caused a scandal back in the "Satanic Panic" '80s?] 
One other ritual type album that was out there at that time that I also have is WITCHCRAFT by Coven (they did One Tin Soldier... a silly antiwar pop song), which features a "Black Mass" and songs like THE WHITE WITCH OF ROSE HALL, and DIGNITARIES OF HELL.
Apparently now OOP, although copies are still available. I never picked it up, probably just because the cover art looked too Raymond Buckland, but the Amazon reviews seem quite positive in a Jefferson Airplane way.
Speaking of which: I don't think that Anton ever got a memorial service from Densley & Co.; but if it had been up to me, I'd have held it atop Land's End, scattered his ashes over the cliff & into the waves, and played this.

I would have to recommend you check out Acheron, those guys lay it all out. There music is what i would call 'unholy gospel'. I've been able to get all their albums and i've never regreted. There is also Judas Priest who are also great.

Apart from the classic "Black Sabbath" , I also like very much "The Foetus of a New Day Kicking" , by Cradle of Filth. I would also not neglect mentioning "Venom". Personally I like "Buried Alive", but I also like very much "In League with Satan", "Welcome to Hell" and "One Thousand Days in Sodom".
