I really wanted a quality large black and red baphomet medallion, but wasn't about to shell out $40 to the 'Silly Satanic Emporium' ran by cretin Lestat Ventrue, so i sent an email to Satanshop enquiring about thier $25 piece of the same design. I was assured there would be no problems, so ordered the medallion, along with a few other items.

The medallion, lapel pin etc turned up 2 weeks later (i'm in the UK) via airmail, perfect condition, top-notch quality. I sent them a brief note to say they had been received, and was told that the previous Manager Morena Faust was no longer with the company, now called Jenray.

Satanshop have got the opportunity to start over with a huge customer base. They produce a much broader range of stuff than the CoS trinket-shack, and don't drill through the top of the medallion!

well this is good news, maybe. I have never ordered from them but I have heard horror stories for years regarding shitty service. are they in california still?

They've got a hell of a bad rep to overcome. If everything's golden with the new manager, that's great. I'll still be cautious if I ever place an order with them though. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice....yeah, don't think so.

Sounds like a good thing I guess, although they started selling their stock over eBay from what I saw. I didn't order anything from them though; didn't have the nice quality that the CoS Emporium's stock had (My own personal opinion though, as I love the medallion, pendant and patch I ordered from them...).

I'll look into the other stuff they have though. As for the pendants/medallions, I've got one now, and that's all that matters to me. Any other items I want may be bought from the new Satanshop.

Maybe...

DistroyA, Satanshop's ebay auctions were handled by ex-manager Morena Faust, who is long gone. I'm looking at building up a collection of thier stuff, particularly the sterling silver baphomet medallion. Unlike the CoS trinket-shack i won't have to wait 4+ months (!) to get an email telling me the item is on its way. And further kudos to Satanshop for sticking it to the emporium and using the same baphomet design that adorns the Satanic Bible. Other ebay sellers are afraid to, fearing legal action from the CoS.

I went on to the Satanshop site to check out the sterling silver Baph' and I liked what I saw, though it's out of stock at present.

There didn't seem to be any indication of how big it is either, that would be good to know.

If it ever becomes available again, I'll take the risk of ordering from them.

The sterling silver Baphomet medallion is roughly 1.25 inches in diameter, not quite the same size as the 'Ritual' sized medallions. I took the Baphomet patch i bought and have ironed it on to a plain black long-sleeve t-shirt from cotton traders. It kicks ass! had some nice comments from friends at The 13th Note Cafe!

This could be useful to me when playing poker. I bump into some of the sponsored guys from time to time, with all their patches. I have worn some "satanic" shirts when playing and find that when I do, it kills all conversation at the table. They also gun for me a lot more. A simple shirt can throw folks totally out of their norm. I might have to copy your idea.

I sent an order for over $250 and they never filled it. Even after five or so emails they neglected to fill my order; I had to report them to the Better Business Bureau. At least they know they're lazy as they never charged my card. Oh they're always out of stock on ritual items without notifying the shopper. Atrocious customer relations and service, amazing they still have a site.

I had the same experience two years ago. Ordered an item, but they never charged me. Judging by some of the recent positive reviews, the new management seems to have gotten their act together.

I recently ordered a Baphomet pendant from them and got exceptional service. Only took about three days for it to arrive to my house.
