No, that wouldn't make you a plushie fetishist. As TC said, that's merely teenage sexual experimentation. Weird things like that around that age are typical. I know, for instance, some brothers who openly admitted to masturbating each other when they were younger, but nowadays they are both married and straight as arrows.

You WOULD be a "plushie", however, if you still masturbated on stuffed animals at the age of 39, had a collection of them that you equipped with dildos and tubes, and made online forum posts about which type of plushie animal turns you on the most.

When I came across this thread I was excited because I am also a fur enthusiast, although not in the furry/anime sense.

I love animals. They're cute, make great companions, they taste delicious, and after eating them, we get to wear their skins!!

I have a serious weakness for snake skin, leather, and furs (real or fake). It looks awesome and feels great. I'm looking forward to the cooler weather so I can whip out my fur trimmed trench coat. ;\)

I have to say that I’m glad that I stumbled across this thread. A good friend of mine proclaimed himself a “furry” quite recently (honest) and for the life of me I hadn’t a fucking clue. He tried to talk it through with myself and others there, but the poor chap was quite drunk and didn’t quite convey his sentiment, shall we say...articulately. This resulted in a great deal of people at the party casting some pretty harsh opinions very quickly.

Being a long term friend, I reserved judgment until I had a full picture of what it was he was actually into. Upon googling the term I was a little more than relieved at the imagery that sprang forth. I honestly had no idea what the hell he was trying to explain when drunk half way to oblivion, but needless to say I had summed up a much grimmer image in my mind at the time (even if I hadn’t said so aloud).

What I saw amused me no end. It’s just harmless fun. Reading your explanation has again cleared up a few things for me. My friend, alas, has never been the most articulate person at the best of time's (never mind drunk).

Needless to say, I’m going to have allot more information to hand when we next speak of the subject.

Thanks for taking the time to elaborate on something so personal.

So, a fury can be a person with an obsession with a mythical creature?

Is this similar to those who are turned on by vampirism?

In ancient Eygpt, people worshipped gods that were part human, part animal. They created idols of them and believed that they would rule their life after death.
