He did all that in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved you!3 Yes, God’s passion and desire for you is so deep, but He knows that even if He opens the floodgates of heaven to buy your love, He would only be utterly scorned.4 So He did the unthinkable to get your attention – He gave His life. As though that’s not enough, He even gave you the power to break His heart. And no matter how many times you do, He stubbornly loves you and patiently waits for you to come to Him.

Why don't they EVER bring up all the horrible shit in the OT? I'm seriously convinced that these simpletons don't even read their bibles. I could quote all kind of evil, heartless shit that god condoned for his believers to do! If you can be so stupid to believe that god is all loving and all caring, you obviously haven't read the OT! drugs (unless it's pot and depending on state laws) will carry hefty sentences if caught
It's not rocket science to understand why people are so adamantly opposed to these things. It however is particularly funny to see said people whoring their bodies around like sex isn't also a drug as well... Hypocrisy at it's finest!
Decency in the face of an amoral society is a virtue. It's what separates you from 99.9% of the population. Big shoes to fill though
