[reposted from old forum] Enjoy…

A quick story…

This couple comes in and the female is getting tattooed, her man is outside the booth watching…

She is groaning and moaning and this guy is jumping up and down yelling "think of the whips and chains honey" over and over…

Try not to laugh and remain composed enough through that to do a good tattoo…

After it is over he looks at her and asks her what it felt like, She replies in a high squeaky voice well it’s kind of like when we use the stun gun…

TMI people TMI…

Tattooing has to be the job for sure where you meet the most interesting people. When I was in the chair my tattooist would love to go on about the various types of people she encountered when doing tattoos. I always hoped I was interesting enough to earn a spot in her conversation to other customers. She always bugged me to apprentice (I used to do some art for her from time to time). The fact is I simply wouldn't have been able to deal with the customers.

I think stun guns would be fun. I bet they only did it for the theatrics Ta2zz. Then again, some are truly masochistic. That gives me ideas.. ;\)

Never tried stun guns, I think that's just going a little further than I would be prepared to go.

As one who apprenticed for two years and then worked as a tattooer for the next year I can honestly say that the amount of interesting people is outweighed by the number of stupid people.

I would have given this womans partner the boot, this sort of a distraction is an attention grabbing ploy that has no place in a tattoo shop.
And, by the way, I am not a lurker, thanks moderator, I am a new member who has very little free time to post.

Edit: read the FAQ. You're given the status of lurker for your post count. No one's messing with your title. Keep accusing us of messing with your shit and we'll work on it, though. Take that chip off your shoulder.

Edit Reason: just wanted to differentiate Maw's edit with some colored text

Kick him out? That would be like giving the clowns a day off at the circus.

The feeling I get when I get a new tattoo is most invigorating.

But a stun gun. I don't know maybe on low voltage perhaps but electricity passing through my body doesn't exactly sound like something I would enjoy very much.
