You have a 'fake' Raven on your altar?! I could never suitably anesthetize the real one (Chico) on mine (Corvus corax). Without him/her jumping off the altar and attacking my cat, I wouldn't be able to impress non-family members into submission...Kudos to you Nemesis! BTW - They really love it when you clip their wings and feed them their own ground up feathers in gruel. (joke)

Victoria, I know what you mean about the presents! I end up buying myself more gifts this time of year, since I have the mentality of "one for me, one for you" when I go shopping. Plus, some of the deals that the stores are offering can't be found at any other time of the year.

I always liked the way my father fairly divided items. "One for you, One for me. Two for you, One, Two for me. Three for you, One, Two, Three for me". He always came out ahead lol

I have always loved Christmas, even the last few years of my non or anti-Christianity. To be honest it's a great family holiday, I love the sweet home feeling, the snow, the pretty lights, the happy moods, and the movies. Christmas dinner is great, and even though my family has changed a lot over the years my mom and I guess dad always go out of their way to make it special for me and my younger brother. Your mentioning of different forms of sacrilege sounds really interesting though, and I might try and construct some really cool tree or maybe nativity scene. My family never used a nativity scene but something pornographic and offensive may be in order.
I also agree that I want more christian music in the stores though as Jake999 brought up, any business that doesn't keep it's customers happy will be less successful. I as a Satanist still greatly enjoy this music, I love Flyleaf also, and its really nice to me, even though of late I have been getting even sicker of Christianity. I have somehow successfully transferred my anti-christianism to my younger brother, and I discovered that in his spare time he has compiled a list he calls "Bible fail" where God says some ridiculously un-Christian things. If there is a request for it, I shall post the list he sent, it's pretty funny, though upon joining this forum I did notice it didn't want anti-Christian sentiments here.
'Tis the season to be jolly. My family always went to Broadway to see the Rockettes dance. I always liked their legs, and you may notice that not too many Christians get offended when Christmas turns a little sexual, or at least the Christian men aren't quite offended.
I wonder if the lead singers of metal bands have ever dressed in a Santa costume. Christmas is about Santa, not God. Lol

Since I am on a cartoon kick at the moment, let us pause to remember the journey of the Three Wise Men ...

hehe, sheep go to church to become stupid, then go to mcdonalds to get fat, might as well combine the two! Makes me wander what Satan would be in the venue of fast foods...lol

Well, with past experience in the yahoo! group of Brotherhood of Satan, in their experience there was a disproportionate number of Satanists in Taco Bells. The idea comes from south of the border, so there's that. Maybe it's the fiery hot sauce. But Satan could totally be a taco, and I'd love to associate my ethnicity with religion...plus I remember some movie with Selma Hayek playing this crazy devil thing, so this idea of "the other" being more seductive and tempting could apply to Mexican women. And their very Catholic, so a mexican satan would be the next century's blasphemy in an America increasingly latino population and culture-wise. Maybe Satan could be a Taco Bell. He's something we've had around for a while, associated with exoticness, corruption, temptation, and being from the dirty place to the south. !Viva Satan!

Viva Satan...that's catchy! I've always enjoyed the Quimbanda "satan", Exu, a bit deeper than Mexico, more like Brazil. Still, a very classic image of a red devil in a suit, lol. Taco Bell I dig. Tacos with Bacardi Rum..great going down at least! yum! Plus Taco Bell is fairly nocturnal with the late hours. Typical food to have with an alcohol binge.

Speaking of the Dirty South...

Nail the baby, to the tree?

There's always this

"Woe to the pharisees, for they are like a dog sleeping in the manger of oxen, for neither does he eat nor does he let the oxen eat."

( Thomas 102:2-5 )
