I can't be narrowed to three. So here's my list.
1. A fine sipping tequila. Something along the lines of a limited reserve Herradura, Patron, or Cabo.
2. A limited bourbon. Not only good for sipping, but has so many uses in cooking. Everything from sauces, to pastries, to desserts. Bourbon does not last long in my house. Especially a finer bourbon.
3. Flavored vodkas. Great for cooking. Great for drinks. Great for sipping. I am very particular to blueberry and pepper flavors.
4. Red wine. I am very partial to shiraz. Another good cooking ingredient and great for serving with the meal, or drinking while cooking said meal.
5. Beer. An easy to go to drink. When I want to just get hammered....any will do. If I want to enjoy it, then Guinness is my go to. Irish Car Bombs combine all my favorites. Beer makes it way into tons of recipes. Everything from bread to chili.
6. Irish whiskey. I am partial to Jameson's. Very easy to sip your way to a staggering night with that. So smooth. Again, something you can cook with.
I love cooking, and alcohol plays a role in a lot of what I cook. Not for getting bombed, but for flavor. Really, most of the alcohol gets cooked away and what you are left with is the flavor.

Everyone of these is right on.
Here are my picks for the month... yes I'm all over the place when it comes to drinking.
Pale ale and stout from the good folks at Cooper's brewery.
Chang beer!!! Incredible lager with the consistancy of an ale but never loses it's lager qualities. Crisp and refreshing; a great after yard work kinda beer.
Same Adams double bock. Yes it is making me fat. But it's a seasonal so I'm going for it.
Tres Pistoles, La Fin Du Monde, Maudite from the fine folks at Unibroue. Strong, sweet, full bodied.. and strong.
Samuel Smith's oatmeal stout. Hell, actually all of their stuff is good. But that is my personal favorite.
Ok. I have to get ready for work.
Cheers!

Hm... I think I'll pass on the snake blood. Drinking it sounds like an easy way to contract a disease or two. Did it do what it was supposed to do? Jes, I don't need no stinking snake blood for some sexual vigor. I'm young and naturally vigorous... i just need a big stinking muff in my face. I'm like a brand new florescent light bulb - i turn on real easily. You can't contract diseases from snakes... plus the stomach kills whatever is in there. At least that was what I was told.
DaVinci: have you ever read "The Power of Water," or "the Message of Water" and pondered on all of its implications? Water might not be completely good for you at times.

I haven't tried this one, but it sounds pretty interesting:
Green Dragon
It's vodka with a certain herbal additive...
I expect that would be quite potent (though it's bound to taste like shit!)

I can't say I have; however I am of the understanding that water may not be completely healthy for you - that is why I mix between Tomato Juice, Orange Juice, and other fruit and vegetable drinks to ensure that I keep things on an even balance.
