I don't know who your bartender is, but fire them. You never set absinthe on fire. No wonder it tastes like lamp oil. All you are doing is burning off the alcohol and concentrating the added flavorings.

I'll never forget, my first drink was Captain Morgan Tattoo and remains my favorite, so that's No.1.

No.2 would have to be ice-cold classic Jäger.

No.3 is a tie between Southern Comfort and Absinthe, I can't decide. Everclear and Monster Energy go good together too (for me at least).

I'm in complete agreement wth you, I don't understand why exactly the bartender would light the actual absinthe on fire I mean even in the Czech ritual you only light the cube.

me and my friends always make shroom tea and mix it with Tequilla
at a 50% ratio.. it will destroy you in like 5 shots.

but other than that i like the following:
shots of corn whisky
shots of tequlla
shots of jack

but i cant drink Whisky often it makes me want to fight so i dont get the whisky much

I made a similiar drink however it was ayahuasca tea and I used vodka (Imperia) and mixed it 70/30 (roughly). That was a fuck of a night, lol.

Ayahuasca tea is made from the b. caapi vine and is a pretty potent hallucinogen that is commonly used by certain tribes in South America. It makes you trip face hardcore however it also can make you vomit however I don't mind vomiting (which is why I enjoy peyote as much as I do) so this is not an issue for me but maybe for you.

Quite a strange one actualy, despite my general state of inebriation/being Scottish, I've never tried brandy. How does it stack up against other spirits?

i just had to pipe in to say i love your photo- from the mysterious stranger, no? i mentioned that in my book list. i love the claymation, and i love twain. people rarely think of him as a satanic author, probably due to the whole tom sawyer, happy go lucky sailing down the mississippi thing, but that man had some darkness lurking!
he was absolutely progressive.
and...... i'm completely off topic, aren't i? favorite drink- bellini, naturally. champagne and peach puree. maybe a trifle effete, but on the other hand, i allow myself to revel in my femininity. and i love bellini.
