It seems The Anglican Centre in Rome have overlooked a minor issue in the naming of a fundraising campaign (click here)...
In light of this, I took it upon myself to inform 'The Very Reverend' David Richardson of this clash. I enclose my email to him below:
Dear Very Reverend David Richardson, I recently discovered that a fundraising programme at the Anglican Centre in Rome is called "The 600 Club". I would like to inform you that "The 600 Club" is also the name of a professed Satanist discussion board running since the late 1990s, at www.the600club.com, which has an affiliation with the " First Satanic Church" run from San Francisco, USA. Those searching for "The 600 Club" in Google are likely to find the Satanist site first, with your site below it. As such, and given the nature of your organisation, this may lead to confusion and possible offense. I am wondering if you considered an alternative name for your fundraising effort, at least online? Kind regards, Meq P.S. No, I didn't put Meq.

You've never been a member of Opus Dei, then? I enjoyed your comment, actually.

Meq, let us know if you get a reply. Just found the following in my spam folder (sans 'Meq'):
Dear Meq, Thank you very much for drawing this to my attention. The programme you have mentioned is run not from Rome but from England and was the brainchild of some of the members of the Development Committee in the U.K. I have alerted them to your advice for which I am most grateful. Yours sincerely, David Richardson The Very Reverend David Richardson, Ch St J, The Archbishop of Canterbury's Representative to the Holy See, Director of the Anglican Centre in Rome. Indeed, the amount of pomp involved is outrageous - not exactly the best example of "Christian humility".
I would say, "Your grace, if Christ himself washed his disciples' feet, it does not seem to be the best example of Christian humility to insist on being called 'Your Grace' and 'Very Reverend'." But perhaps you can send that one
An Anglican/Baptist Primate when he was first baptized.
