Just because I am curious. What is the meaning behind your username?

I am a huge Palahnuik fan. In fight club the members of fight club are referred to as space monkeys. There just trained to do one little job. That and all the monkeys we sent to space to die, becoming martyrs for science. Each one a sacrificed so we can have the wonders of today.

Mine is a mix of Satanist and Anarchist. I threw in 666 because that is the number of the Anti-Christ and I am an Anti-Christ. I got the idea from my friends' band The Athiarchists which is a mix of Atheist and Anarchist. Nothing incredibly deep, but there it is.

Now shouldn't you explain the meaning behind yours as well?

When I was a teenager, I got this name as a nickname. It's hard to explain why I got the name. I always tell people to just get to know me and after a while they tell me that they understand why I'm called The Blackangel. That's the best I can give you unless you ask a more specific question.

Heh - mine is actually my legal name. I had a female name up to around five years ago and this one I created inspired by my love of cats and dark red gemstones. \:\)

Mine is my nickname with my friends. It's because my eyes are a golden yellow colour.

I am William Wright. I am Will. We are one and the same. William Wright is who I am outside. Will is who I am inside.

Choose your username carefully. It becomes you.

Shortly after the fall of the last version of the 600 club I had fallen into league with some wacky Satanists and we tried to take over the world, like ya do.

I found out soon enough that this train I was on had no where else to go but off the tracks and I moved on. Upon entering this site again I decided that rather than use my real name as I had done before to position myself as the constant student.

I wear delusion a bit like a dunce cap to remind myself that learning never stops if we are in the right frame of mind to absorb what comes.

And I thought it sounded cool.

Mine is multifold:

1). It's a tribute to Robert Anton Wilson who I think was one the most brilliant minds to ever walk the planet.

2). A Fnord!, as an interjection, is said to have hypnotic power over the unenlightened.

3). I strive to be to be the living embodiment of Fnord!, as opposed to the typographic representation.

Disclaimer:
Fnord! is not actually the word used to create a fnord (something mysteriously and/or disturbingly out of context for one thing).

We should probably look to that discussion about nines for further clarity, yes? \:\)

Have you ever read any of Stephen King's dark tower series?

That description reminds me of a robot (Andy the Messenger Robot, Many Useful Functions) in one of the later books (Wolves of the Calla I think).

Aasminov's Rest of the Robots also comes to mind.
