I recently saw this movie, granted I am a big saint’s fan and I liked it.
Has anyone else seen it? There were parts that just kind of rubbed me the wrong way, for example there 'new' hand guns with the massive compensators on them.
Overall I would give the movie a six out of ten, please post your reaction to the movie.

I really want to see this as I loved the first Boondock Saints, one of my all time favorite movies. From the trailers I've seen, heard and what I have read about it, the film looks really promising. I just have not gotten around to it yet.

How would you say it compares to the first, since you said you are a Saints fan?

I thought it was pretty good, a little cheesy at certain parts but I think that was done on purpose. A lot of scenes from the first movie were recreated for this one which I found kind of funny but also made it seem like the director was one note. I really enjoyed Julie Benz's role though; that Southern accent was SEXY!

I loved the first movie I thought it was really fun despite the fact it condones religious fanaticals bringing "justice" as they see fit, but hey, it's just a movie.

I went into the sequel with no expectations and therefore, I was not completely disappointed. I thought that Troy Duffy's script writing was really forced for this picture. Most of the dialogue was way cheezy and Julie Benz's Texas accent was some what of a slow torture.

I did however, really enjoy Duffy's directing style, that of which is identical to Boondock Saints. Cameos are always fun too. Overall, I'd watch it once, then immediately watch Boondock Saints to get the bad taste out of my mouth.
