I kept checking to make sure it wasn't just a bad joke gone on for far too long, but it's so screwed. If you never got to see them live you really missed out.
I know this post is old but I wanted to reply anyway. A long time ago I spoke to Peter about auditioning for Carnivore. They were looking for a lead guitarist, and his sister, who I used to work with, told me that her brother was looking for someone. At the time I had never heard of Peter or Carnivore. I was just a 17 year old kid who was only playing for 3 or 4 years and didn't have the chops developed yet for his band but he was willing let me come down and jam anyway. Well, me being a dopey kid with not enough sack to take the chance, chickened out, so I never got the opportunity to meet or jam with him.
When I heard of his passing I was saddened because I knew how nice he was in real life. At least to a dopey 17 year old kid.
