Ron Hubbard invented the Scientology. In our country, they are nearly not present yet. There is a church of scientology in your capital town.

I don't accept the Scientology as a religion, because it bases on a science-fiction story. \:\(

I don't think he's either a messiah or a madman. I think he's a bloody genius. He got thousands of saps to part with their money and buy him a new life. He also got hundreds of stupid girls to get on their knees for him. And I don't mean in prayer.

Don't forget he's, uh, what do we say in English, oh yeah - DEAD.

Dead guy genius, I guess. I wonder if he made it to that big spaceship in the sky?

oh
scientology came in handy when the villagers were at my gate with the torches and stuff.
i could pay fifteen bucks for a course, say, hey, leave me alone, im a SCIENTOLOGIST AND TOM CRUISE WILL GET YOU

Uh, the only problem is that the course got kinda boring and more expensive after a while, and try as i might, i just couldnt get laid there.
there were lotsa pretty scientologist babes in those slinky blue dresses they wear (i do so love a grrrl in uniform) but, eh, they were kinda snot nosed and the instructor chewed me out fer tryin to pass one of them my phone# in class...aww, ....shoot...

and finally, they r greedy bastards. they actually assigned someone to escort me to the ATM and back to pay for my course....sheeeesh......
L. RON HUBBARD WAS A heroin addict.....they really are serious about that money dude....whoa....way tooooo serious....
and ...I dont like junkies. its just my personal thing,
im quirky, sorry.....heheheheh....

He's dead. His religion's a piece of shit; but he's a genius for inventing it and making a million off of crazy people! Goes to show, Barnum was right: "There's a sucker born every minute."

I think it was Barnum. Hubbard may have been a douche bag, but he did more than we have: 1) write tons of books... 2)make his own religion... 3) make a shit load of money.

Go Lafayette!!! I still hate him.

Well i personaly think that l. ron hubbard is a con man who was insane. for making up an entire "religion" based on his stories. and really anyone who follows his teaching is blind.
why would anybody ever want to fallow him.

Naa, not insane. Give the sci fi author credit. He invented a religion that lots of usually rich people want to follow.

There is a sucker born every minute, and he is just giving the masses what they want.

Just like every other religious organization.

He was a genius. A con man yeah, but a genius nonetheless. He simply created something, and the sheeple followed. He saw an opportunity for his own gain and the ignorant herd that followed simply gave him the means.

Actually, itís based upon the teachings of the Pasadena OTO. The same folks that Kenneth Anger and Anton LaVey based the Church of Satan teachings upon.

I wish that I could come up with such a scheme. Tons of cash, lots of dewey eyed, slavish followers who worship me like a god, wow. I'm impressed. I had to see what all the hubbub was about. I took some courses. Heh heh, they weren't even put off when I let them know about my Satanic beliefs. The courses were interesting enough. It was titillating to talk about life experiences with some hot chicks. They are really serious about milking the last dime out of you though. There are also some definitely racist vibes coming from ol' L. Ron himself. I didn't like that at all. I was wondering why they were so blunt about the cash. One would think that some people might be put off by such an obvious dive at the wallet.

I have read both LaVey's work and Hubbard's work and I don't see correlation. Care to elaborate on this?

Right off the top of my head, the two philosophies stand rather opposed. Scientology preaches a sort of carnal restraint among all of it's members that is more commonly found in the Catholic Priesthood. Satanism embraces man's carnal nature.

The girls there were cute, but the ones in the blue and white uniforms practically sneered at me when I tried to get a rap...AW, cmon, baby....can't I buy ya a drink somewheres? Hey, these classes sure are cool huh? UH, do you come here often?

LOL, I think Hubbard was a genius. Scientologists give me the creepy vibe. I've met a few and get the cult vibe from them.

L Ron definitely rivals Anton LaVey as one of the great sheisters.
When I was in NYC, years ago, there were nuns selling pencils on the subway. I found out later through a newspaper article that these nuns were basically sex slaves from some dude's very own private religion. He got busted for promoting prostitution and a bunch of other charges. I could not help but think, WOW! WHAT A GREAT IDEA!!!!! Of course, I would have to figure out a way to not get busted. The government just doesn't understand the temple whore thing. Especially when they charge by the hour.
