I read somewhere that they had a brief encounter with Anton LaVey in San Fransisco, I do not know if this is true or not though.

They had a publication called, strangely enough, Process. It may be hard to locate outside of the LoC or a lucky hit on E-Bay, though. You could also check out this link.

I was not refering to Manson, its just from interviews ive read with church members they saw lavey's referencing of Satan in a similer manner to how they refer to satan as the advasary.

My mistake, I assumed you meant an encounter between Manson and Lavey.

Maybe Aquino can help you out on this one.

From what I found, there should be a 500+ page pdf torrent file out there about "The Tide of the End". That should give you all the information you need about their views.

Good luck hunting.

they appear to be a group of high magicians.

I ran across The Process from a relatively entertaining book called "The Book of Lies," a volume in the Disinformation series of publications [this book also contains a late interview with LaVey].
They're fascinating in that they've ties to Thelema and Scientology (and quite possibly Charles Manson, as claimed in "Helter Skelter).
What I've learned from my old-time counterculture friends, is that they actually used to pass out tracts and sell flowers at airports and the like; generally they had a uniform of sorts too: bleak clothing and crucifix medallions.
I've been meaning to look into it more; if I come across something of note, I'll be sure to let you know.

Hey, don't you just love middle-aged people dressing up and having fun? ;\)

And now they are "The Best Friends Animal Society"? No wonder that cat's hiding in the bath!

A member who ran the chicago chapter is actually trying to reboot the church, It interests me because its Theistic Satanism and Christianity working as ying yang to one another, with bits of thelma thrown in.

Yes, I would like to know if there was a point to this, or to the one-liner you posted after it. It seemed pretty nonsensical, not to mention poorly written. I would advise you to put some more work into your posts or else not post at all. Please read the FAQ and abide by the rules of the forum, or else take your unsolicited opinions elsewhere.
