Nemesis, I took the last pic through Photoshop simply because the back rim of the plate doesn't look quite right. If you look close, the aqua color right above the "baby" head looks a bit disjointed, like it's been smudged, which can be done through Photoshop. When I took the pic through, it looks like the "baby" head has been Photoshopped into the pic. There's a strong contrast in the pixel differences compared to the rest of the pic as I enlarged the pic as a whole. Because of that, I took the middle pic you posted and did the same thing. That picture has definitely been Photoshopped to make it look like a "baby". Even the bowl at the bottom doesn’t match. It's very clear in that pic. I'm not sure exactly what kind of meat was in that bowl, but it definitely wasn't a baby.
I went so far as to take the first picture on the site through Photoshop and found that it's been manipulated as well. It looks more like that baby was a stillborn and someone added the bones to the pic to cover something like blankets or hospital towels. They went so far as to add shadows but never "smoothed" them out or completely ignored bones that should have had a shadow. In trying to "fix" the photo, they ended up "brushing" over the finger tips of the hand by the face with the babies "created" hairline.
I suspect the person that did the Photoshopping didn't realize that they needed to do a lot more clean up to the pics in order for them to actually pass enlarging and to look "real" enough that no one would catch on.
I know Snopes is not always completely right, but here's a link. http://www.snopes.com/horrors/cannibal/fetus.asp
Just another Christian web site passing on their "shock and awe" campaign about the evil foreigners and to “help” save fetuses. You can clear your head of those pics, they are not real and I'd be willing to bet on it.

Snopes reports that assertions about Asian fetus cannibalism are fake, including but not limited to the performance artist: http://www.snopes.com/horrors/cannibal/fetus.asp
One thing I think is interesting is that every article I've seen reports the exact same details in the exact same order. It's always supposed to improve "yang." There's always a 62 year old man with a 19 year old bride who invented the soup to improve his virility. It's always code-named "spare rib soup." The restaurant is always in Foshan, Guangdong Province, and the fetuses are always collected from mothers in rural areas. Never any new developments or additional facts to suggest actual investigation or reporting was done; rather, paraphrases of canon that suggest a single root source, probably one imaginative individual.
There are also never any identifying facts that could pin down the phenomenon, facts by which one could confirm or deny it. We never get the name of the investigator who took the pictures or discovered the restaurant. We never get the name of the restaurant owner or his horny teenage bride. We never get the name of the restaurant itself. All we get are vague, loose details that have "internet rumor/chain email" written all over them.
Another thing I noticed is that the arms and hands in all of these images of the preparation and serving of the fetus are a Caucasian man's arms. Why would a restaurant in Foshan have a white guy preparing the food?
I suspect, if these are pictures of a real human fetus, that this was staged by a pro-life group who obtained a fetus and then decided to do the most shocking thing they could imagine with it in order to make a statement and provoke outrage.
Stephen W. Mosher's book A Mother's Ordeal: One Woman's Fight Against China's One Child Policy goes into a lot of gory detail about the One Child Policy. If this were practiced, believe me it would have been mentioned. Never is there any suggestion that fetal cannibalism is acceptable in East Asian culture or that their superstition would suggest it boosts one's "yang."

Chef Gordon Ramsay was the guest chef for one of his Kitchen Nightmare programs. "Oh my GOD!!! You can't serve aborted fetus with carrots!!! Not carrots!!!!"

The Presto Fry Baby deep fryer seems appropriate for these meals.

HA there is actually a chinese short film called Dumplings all about eating aborted fetuses for supposed healing powers. If you're into shock film it can't be missed.
It's a segment of the "Three... Extremes." film.

That is not a bullshit article.
In greater parts of Asia it is a known tradition to eat the placenta with close relatives right after the birth of a child for prosperity and good luck.. It is the same tradition as burying the placenta in front of / under a tree in some countries and traditions.
For those same greater parts of Asia, it is also known to eat a dead fetus, not by murdering it, rather when it is born dead none the less. Don't forget that cannibalism used to be normal in old Asian times .. And it still is in some remote parts as there is no capital punishment for it... In some places they never really made a law for it, allthough...
There is even an old sort of tribe that applies more or less the same ..(rather horriffic) they expose the corpse of the relative / member of the tribe on a wooden table under the burning sun .. After the bodily fluids start to drip in the gutters, it gets collected in a beaker .. Once the corpse is dried up. They share and drink that fluid of the deceased person to take in the spirit. That way the deceased person will always remain among their people. The world has shown to have some edgy sides.., so much is true.
