Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum. I'm currently writing a fictional novel about a Satanist and have just recently faced a block, ugh, don't you hate it when that happens? Well, anyway, I was wondering if anyone here would be kind of enough to help? Be my muse if you will?
Thanks again

Unless you're writing an "Interview with a Satanist", I don't really see why you'd need a satanist to inspire you.
Whatever sort of satanist you need, from the classic devil-worshiping bad-boy to the atheistic egocentric, can easily be created by doing some research into what Satanism was or is.
The most important question that will have to be answered is: "What is in it for us?".
No free lunch in Satan's land.

Thanks to everyone who offered to help, someone messaged me earlier and has been a great help. To those who just decided they'd love to be rude, insulting or just plain pompous, I only have one question for you, what are YOU doing with your life?

Thishoneybfly, you want to know what Satanists are like? Well for starters Satanists believe in doing for themselves, which is why I would suggest that you research the topic instead of relying on second-hand information from someone who may not even know what he/she is talking about. How do you know that the person who messaged you and has “been a great help” isn’t just fucking with you?
What I would do if I wanted to get a feel for Satanism is actually participate in this forum. Ask questions. Tell us your thoughts on Satanism. Just saying that you want someone to help you learn about Satanism suggests that you’re intellectually lazy and want to be spoon fed, not good qualities in a writer (and frowned upon by many Satanists).
Asking what we’re doing with our life is pointless. We’re doing whatever it is we want to do, whether it is pursuing a doctorate from Harvard or sitting on our asses watching Jerry Springer. This is about you coming here wanting our help. What I'm saying is that Satanists help those who help themselves.

Again, thanks for the help everybody. I love some of the responses, very funny. I agree with the point you made William, very wise. I never said EVERYBODY was being pompous, the one's that where obviously know who they are.
Oh, and as for what I'm doing with MY life, I'm a writer, I've been published and have made a decent living of it. I'm also a recording artist, I sing, write and produce my own material. I act from time to time as well, film, tv and stage. I don't need to compare my status or life with anyone else's but you did ask

I'm not doing anything with my life. I'm just a poor old man who has a shack on the outskirts of town and a cat with a broken tail.
Hey Jake, I want may cat back now! Did you really think I wouldn't miss him? I love every single one of my 22 cats including the one you stole from under my trailer. Roman and I are coming to get you.....

Oh you're that one asking for advice here all the time about who to marry. Soap kitten.
PS: if you claim to be a writer, don't forget to use the skills when replying.

Excuse me? This is the first time I've ever been on this site. Oh, and the last time I checked, this was a forum not a manuscript of mine to go off for review or publishing. My grammar and spelling are fine. You're good but not that good, try again.
Look sweetie, the very fact that you react on criticism here, or are even affected by it, doesn't indicate you have that much of a career going on and if, it sure isn't that important.
But maybe you are taking a sabbatical to reflect upon how to handle all that worldly and monetary success.
What you do, no serious writer does and even if, he'd elaborate who he is and why he asked the favor. And, a good writer shows in his writing, even if it is only a measly request or reply on a forum.
I suggest as a title for your next bestseller: "much ado about nothing", or "hot air". If you want, I'll provide a screenplay for ya.
Method acting will not require that much effort to get in role.
