I was wondering if your forum allows the administrators to split a thread in two parts? I have my own forum, non-related to Satanism, and when a thread goes terribly off-topic but is still interesting we admins usually split the thread in two parts. This way one discussion does not take over the other and things are kept nice and tidy and it is easier to have a good overlook. Sometimes its hard to keep up a discussion when there are several topics adressed in the same thread. Is this possible to do here as well?

The easiest manner is to quote the part you want to respond to and your reply to it as a new thread. Threads gone wild tend to remain focused on their last subjects anyways.

I know how to quote but was wondering if splitting of threads are possible. If it is possible its definately preferable, speaking from alot of personal experience.

You could split the thread, but you have to catch it at the right time. Once you move it, some posts will follow it, and some posts won't depending on who they replied to. Thus you might end up with two disjointed confusing threads instead of one thread that goes a little off topic.

I see. My forum has the option of selecting exactly which posts that would be moved to the new thread. If thats doesnt work with your forum I understand that it can easily become more confusing. Thanks anyway.

I'm interested, PM me the link, dude. I've always enjoyed your responses here, so any dog you're actually racing might be more enjoyable.
