Before I even get started I'm going to mention that I'm new to this forum, do forgive me if I could of found the information I am seeking elsewhere.

I was wondering what a satanic church consists of. I was raised in a christian church at the age of two till I was around sixteen. I was weary of the weak dependent beings it produced, and remained independent and far from its chains. Because I have witnessed and know the depth of a church, I am put off from anything that has any similarities. It may be self explanatory, but I have never been to one and I am interested as to what takes place. To those of you that have gone: how was it beneficial to you?

Neither the CoS or FSC are "churches" in the traditional sense. They are organizations, not congregations. This is to say that they don't hold services that you can attend. They might hold gatherings of sorts from time to time but it is not as if there is any central location (church) where they would be held. At least, not as far as I know.

Nearly all "Satanic" gatherings (when they happen at all) are usually private and very personal, and vary dramatically from group to group. Even such "groups" are not congregations in the typical sense, but colleagues and close friends whose relationships change over time just like all other people.

Even so, Satanism places the most value on individual liberty and autonomy, which is pretty much as far away from conventional Christianity as you can get.

Ah, I see. Thanks for clearing the haze. My idea of it was completely wrong. Satanism is so much more appealing because of it's secret like society. How do you go about attending these gatherings? I would assume you need to know the right people, but I was hoping forums such as these would contain some direction, considering any serious talk of Satanism is scarce where I live.

As obvious as it may sound, I don't really think just a simple internet search for Satanic orgs will really make the cut. Most of the self-advertised "groups" are usually just one megalomaniac with an Angelfire account anyways.

You could look for Satanic forums and get in touch with practitioners that way, but in any case, I'd recommend to try to keep the novice desire to join a group in check, and study on your own while keeping an eye out for like-minded people. Most Satanists I know do not flaunt their presence online, so you're more likely to come across other Satanists through clubs, bands, subculture meetups, etc.

Use grammar, type in full sentences and try to contribute something useful to the discussion. Otherwise you will be banned. I wish I could give you more information, but hell, I can barely figure out your question.

If you're looking to socialize with other Satanists but none are in your area, maybe you could introduce some of your friends to Satanism and lead your own personal get-togethers? That's what i've done here in my town and my friends and i get together on late nights and discuss our faiths, smoke and wreak some well deserved havoc on the town (; haha.

Well you could introduce people in your area to Satanism. But what you will likely end up with are social lonely misfits looking for friends. I personally prefer to meet others that have already carved out their own way . I am not big on ' converting' others.

Oh come ON!!! Yeah, yeah, others who "have already carved out their own way" are probably better. OK, definitely, indisputably better. But hey ...

The "social lonely misfits looking for friends" can provide you with an endless source of amusement. They are incredibly suggestible, amazingly malleable, and totally dispensable!

So what's the downside, again? ;\)

There is no physical Church of Satan in England, or anywhere else for that matter. You will do best to look them up on line and see what they have to offer in terms of resources.

The logic behind this would be what? Black Masses have been conducted by both the CoS and the FSC if I'm not mistaken, as public events. Breaking into a church and having a supposed black mass is something a bunch of criminal devil worshippers would do.

If you're going to post here, try to contribute something useful to the discussion instead of a one-liner that holds absolutely no useful information whatsoever.

I could go on a long-winded spiel about antinomianism and blah blah blah, but I'm holding it back. Don't bother, Alex, this guy is just a troll.
