I just finished ONA Codex Saerus Black Book of Satan, Michael W. Ford, The Devil's Bible and Devil's Disciple by Myrmydon Pontifex Maximus, and Works of Darkness by EA Koetting.

Up Next are: Black Arts by Richard Cavendish and Temple of Set I and II by Michael A. Aquino.

I am currently reading Atlas Shrugged, TSB, and Man and The Stars. I have read Atlas Shrugged about five times. I find something new to ponder every time I read it. Atlas is one of my favorite books because John Galt is kind of an antichrist. I am reading The Satanic Bible again because it is a great work in its simplicity. I think that TSB's theory of magic is so easy to understand that one can create their own way to perform an effective ceremony. Man and The Stars is about the origins of the calendar. It has had some interesting parts but it's kind of boring.

Just had this delivered from IXAXAAR on Wednesday. It's the first book in a continuing series written by Ekortu, on Thursian sorcery and Thursatru Traditions. It's very well written, but I am not far enough in to have much to report.

I've been meaning to read this book for a long time.

In the spirit of, next years "International Left Hand Path Consortium - Atlanta 2016" were Thomas Karlsson is going to be one of the many speakers.

Aslo check out "Dragon Rouge "Magical course 1.0"

Thomas Karlsson PhD. is a Swedish occultist and an esoteric author. In 1989, he and six other magicians founded Dragon Rouge, a Left-Hand Path initiatory organization and a Draconian Tradition Order, led by Karlsson. As a book author he concentrates on occult, philosophy and paranormal topics. The Dragon Rouge website cites Carlos Castaneda, Julius Evola and Kenneth Grant as some of the magical writers whose work is read by the order, as are texts by classical philosophers such as Herakleitos, Plato and Plotinos, as well as modern philosophers like Friedrich Nietzsche, Martin Heidegger and Henri Bergson.

Karlsson is also associated with metal bands Therion and Shadowseeds. In the summer of 2007, he has held the first Swedish course ever in Western Esotericism at the Stockholm University. His personal influences include Sumerian mythology, Alchemy, Tantra, the Goetia, and the Qliphoth.

Music

Karlsson is also the lyricist of symphonic metal band Therion, and has written almost all the band’s lyrics since 1996. He also provided the whispers on the Therion song Ljusalfheim on their Secret of the Runes album.

Karlsson is the lead vocalist of the symphonic death metal band Shadowseeds along with fellow Dragon Rouge member Tommie Eriksson, who also was Therion’s guitarist and drummer. The lyrics reflect the Order’s teachings and rituals. The band is currently on hiatus.

Am currently reading 2 books.

The first is The Rolling Stone Rock n Roll Reader, edited by Ben Fong Torres and published in 1974.

This is a real treat if you like American music from 1967 to 1971, and you like the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.

A good friend years ago loaned me a copy of this book and I enjoyed it. I lost my friends copy, but decided, only recently, to buy another copy second hand from Amazon.

The book is about 780 pages and has all the good articles and interviews from Rolling Stone magazine for the period of 1967 to 1971. Included are stuff on Beatles, Stones, Dylan, Airplane, Janis, Doors, Jimi, The Byrds etc. etc.

The second book is The Land Where the Blues Began by Alan Lomax.

This is a piece of magic and an excellent written record of the recordings made by (and the associated experiences enjoyed by) Lomax in the American South. Lomax recorded so many black blues artists during the 1930's and 1940's, trying to find and get down on tape as much as he could before that world crumbled away and was lost.

I am an Australian, but I continue to have a particular fascination with American music. Without wishing to list down some set of names, I thought I might highlight a few choice clips to give you some idea of this music.

Next, I want to get my hands on a really good biography of Hank Williams Snr. I think Hank Williams and Robert Johnson made the most frightening and tragic music to come out of America.

The book Family Tradition is a pretty good biography of Hank Sr., Jr., and 3. It's mostly about Sr. and gives a whole lot of insight into how fucking miserable he was through every moment of his life when he wasn't playing music.
